Anyone have any leads on lyrics for this song? Chris Hennesey released a version of this song on a recent CD in Newfoundland. I can't find anything of it online...

It's by Tom Russell. Nancy Griffith merely had the best-known recording of it.

The best recording of it is Tom's and Nancy's duet on his The Long Way Around. IMO.

For your error, you must sing Gallo Del Cielo in front of an ASPCA convention.

Eeew, no - not without re-writing it so the roosters from hell develop super-powers and turn on the crowd.
