Most commonly it appears to begin "What did Dela ware, boys? Repeat 2x She wore a brand New Jersey, repeat 2x I've seen it as the What did Dela ware song, Silly State Song, and the 50 State song. I have 23 states and perhaps more if the question/answer format in the song is altered. I learned this in school, and Hawii and Alaska were already states. Thanks for your help. You'll find a few versions in this thread (click). In that thread, Dick Greenhaus promised that the song would appear in the April 1998 edition of the Digital Tradition.
