Pene Azul, thank you very much for the editing and grafting.

JenEllen, worry not, I'll see he doesn't catch his tail in a crack.

MMario, if you do drive down we'll give you bed and breakfast and buy your first beverage. Tempted?

Noreen, oh no, he says Woodpecker won't do, he must have Strongbow or Dry Blackthorn. Oh well, he is our honored guest, and we've order his pleasure!

Diva, I prevail upon him to favor us with his prize-winning song.

Well, Tatie Bogle, I'll organize my on my end if you will yours. We'll be beginning at 8:00 Eastern Standard Time, I bit late for you I imagine, but...

Bill D. I'm so glad you're going to make it. It wouldn't be right without you. Start packing now, so you'll not be rushed.

'Catters and allies:

The singaround will be at the front of the pub. (Look in the window as you approach.) All musical genres are welcome, but it's all acoustic. It will be a continuous 'round robin' sing with me facilitating (directing traffic).

Parking is available accross the street in the Chevy Chase Bank after 5. One block up Price Ave. on the right is public parking. If full, turn right on Fern at the corner of that lot and there is a free parking garage 1/2 block on your left. So lots of parking two blocks away.

Come for dinner with Micca and us if you can, Ian Morrison, the chef, studied at the Charleston SC Culinary School, and the food is REALLY GOOD, way beyond the usual pub fare and the prices are reasonable as well.

Hope to see you there. Chance

Jock Morris/Scott: which end do you fancy? The Castle or Holyrood House? I already got turfed off the Castle Esplanade when some of us from Scots Music Group tried to play a tune or two during the "Millenium Music Live" bash last year: "you can't do that there 'ere" says Mr Jobsworth of Edinburgh Castle, who had obviously not heard of this major nationwide musical event, promoted by none less than the British Broadcasting Corporation; so we retreated down the steps to Johnston Terrace where he had no jurisdiction and were appreciated by a handful of tourists. So maybe I'll take the Holyrood end this time, Jock and you can charm Mr Jobsworth with your concertina on the Esplanade! Tattie B

The red carpet is in, and the the rose petals and baskets are ready, however there appears to be a lack of virgins to strew them at Micca's feet as he enters. So Micca, there's a cider made in Vermont called Woodchuck. They have a tart apple up there called the Granny Smith. The cider they make from it has only 11g of sugar in 355ml. Which much lower that any cider I can find. If you think you might like that we can get some for the getaway.

I can't afford to lose anymore brain cells, thank you very much, I'm running at half speed already. Oh, sorry about the dance of the virgins, we haven't been able to certify anyone.

Thanks to all of you who came and those who wished us well. It was a great night. I got to hear Barry Finn sing for the first time, a mighty voice. Micca sang us his new song! Dispite being up well into his second day, and a few ciders to the goood, Micca sprang up on Friday morning fit as a fiddle and ready to play. Thanks all. best regards, Chance

How much do you think we'd have to pay those nice 'catters in the States to keep Micca??

Well, we've not heard from him for a bit, JJ- think they've left him tied up in a log cabin somewhere? Or does Sinsull have other plans for him???

Probably comatose under a barrel of Woodchuck somewhere... or been beaten to death for snoring.
