I have found links to a poem and several books, but no music. I'm thinking my friend may have misheard or been misinformed, and that this is not a song but just a poem. Anyone know for sure? 27 Sep 01 - 12:00 PM (#559929) Subject: RE: Tune Req: Ballad of Biddy early From: wysiwyg It may very well be that someone has done up a tune for it, but that it has not been recorded yet and so would not show up in a web search. Or it may be an old ballad with tune that has simply not been entered into Mudcat, and that no one who knows it, here, has seen the thread yet. And there's no reason why a tune could not be created, eh? ~S~ |
