30 Sep 01 - 11:03 AM (#561900) Subject: RE: Help: Need good 2nd hand guitar, Toronto area From: Peter T. I'm using all mine, but the city is loaded with second hand instruments at reasonable prices. Twelfth Fret, Long & McQuade, Ring Music, not to mention the sleazy places Rick Fielding inhabits. She should phone up Rick -- this is one of his favourite hobbies -- I have benefitted directly. yours, Peter T. |

30 Sep 01 - 11:35 AM (#561910) Subject: RE: Help: Need good 2nd hand guitar, Toronto area From: Rick Fielding Well EXCUSE ME!! The only reason I frequent 'sleazy places' by myself, is that Peter T refuses to put his priorities in order.....and quit his job. Oh, I could show him delights of the flesh that he could never imagine while treading the boring halls of academia. Peter come with me to a small out of the way hole in the wall on Queen street past Bathurst. It's called "Capsule Music, and they've got a "back room" (if ya know what I mean...nudge nudge, wink wink). Sit on a stool and drool you fool at the stencils on the "Roy Rogers special by Stella". Run your hungry fingers over the neck of an Epiphone "Radio King". Grind a well-used trashy Yamaha into your throbbing pelvis....and PLAY, PLAY....until you're satisfied. And no need to wear finger picks in THIS den of iniquity......you can play UNPROTECTED! Oops, sorry Clinton, Peter's raced off to the bathroom to read his Bible under a cold shower..... However your friend should check out: Capsule Music on Queen. Songbird Music (also on Queen) Encore Music on Danforth rd. Those are the three best places in Toronto for good cheap used instruments.
