Help: Boss BR8 Digital Recorder

Thanks in advance for your generous assistance.

In my attempts to preserve the music I make I bought a Boss BR8 digital recorder. I have looked everywhere for the owner's operation manual but it does not appear to have been included with the unit. I've printed out whatever I could find at the relevant websites, but still no manual.

I have contacted the retailer who has arranged to have a manual shipped to me from Roland/Boss, but that will take weeks I'm told.

My question: Please, does anyone out there in cyberland have a copy they could email to me, or (preferably) know where such a thing might be posted on the net?

As always, eternal thanks!

Mooh (crocker@hurontel.on.ca)

Sorry mooh...

All I can tell you is that I've heard good things about the Boss BR-8... If I do run across a manual, I'll be sure to let ya know...

Hope ya get more positive feedback on this thread than I did when I posted about my new Boss ME-10 effects peddle...

Rana...God bless you, the turbostart was basically a shortcut set of directions for general use which will work for me until the full manual arrives. Once I had the Adobe program loaded, it was simply a matter of printing the directions.

Clinton...Yeah I know what you mean. I sometimes use a Digitech multi-effects unit on my flat-tops, but it's heresy to the hardcore acoustic folk. I wouldn't use it in the context of the celtic band I'm with, but it's great for some other stuff.

Btw, the BR8 seems (so far) to be relatively idiot-proof (though I might test its limits there) and extremely guitar and user friendly compared to other units I've seen.

Thanks for your help!

Peace, Mooh.

The owner's operating manual has arrived. That is, the manual for operating the BR8, not the manual for operating the owner. This thing (again, the BR8, not me) is incredible. My first attempts are quite successful.

Thanks all.
