Sinsull will probably be arounf to chastize me for telling you that, but the truth is that a lot of times threads makred "Lyrics" or "Looking for a song" just get ignored. Spaw |

13 Feb 02 - 10:36 PM (#649653) Subject: RE: Lyrics - Memories of You, Dear - Doc Watson From: Jim Dixon "Memories of You Dear" was performed in a western swing style by Johnnie Lee Wills, and appears on the CD "Band's A-Rockin'," 1996. The CD consists of radio transcriptions dating between 1941 and 1951. Harley Huggins is credited as a guitarist backing Wills. It was also recorded by Mike Auldridge, a dobro player, on "Treasures Untold," (Sugar Hill, 1990). Doc Watson appears as guest vocalist on this cut. Click here. Doc Watson also recorded it on the LP, "Live & Pickin',"1979. I was unable to find the lyrics. |
