They say I do; ain't nobody caught me,
Wear my clothes just like a fan, I'm pretty sure there are more, but I couldn't find them. Maybe Max knows them....... |

PROVE IT ON ME BLUES
Went out last night, and a great big fight
Where she went, I don't know
They said I do it, ain't nobody caught me
It's true I wear collar and a tie
Wear my clothes just like a fan |

08 Jan 02 - 01:22 AM (#623173) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Prove It On Me From: Dan Schatz There's a fabulous recording of it by Faith Nolan on an album called Freedom to Love (Redwood Records). All around that's an excellent album, by the way. The way Faith sings it, there are a few minor differences: Verse 1: "I looked up, to my surprise The gal I was doin' was gone." Verse 4: "It's true I wear a collar and a tie I like to watch the women pass me by...."
Enjoy! Dan |
