I am trying to find the music for a song titled "Christmas Morning". It was written by Carol Bemmels and Ross Flanagan. The first lines are: "It's winter and light is alive on the Earth/ Wake up! It's Christmas morning/ Starlight and firelight and sunlight give birth/ Wake up! The Christ child's a-borning. If you know where I can purchase or download a copy of the music, please let me know. Thanks

CHRISTMAS MORNING
by Carol Bemmels and Ross Flanagan

It's winter and light is alive on the earth.
Wake up! It's Christmas morning.
Starlight and firelight and sunlight give birth.
Wake up! The Christ-child's a-borning.

CHORUS: He's man and He's woman. He's old and He's young.
He's Buddhist and Christian and Jew.
She's wealthy, She's poor, She's black and She's white,
And, oh yes, the Christ-child is you.

Sisters and brothers, whatever your sleep,
Wake up! It's Christmas morning.
Bring with you dreams for the daylight to keep.
Wake up! The Christ-child's a-borning.

Jesus was good and He lived long ago.
Wake up! It's Christmas morning.
You are good, too, and are living now, so
Wake up! the Christ-child's a-borning.

Notes on this song:
This is a carol that was written to music by Ross Flanagan. It is sung in a sprightly tempo and can be found in its original form in the Friends (Quaker) Hymnal and the popular songbook - "Rise Up Singing". Earth Mama (Joyce Johnson Rouse) has recorded it in a delightful Christmas album which you can easily find on the web and download from the Apple ITunes store.

You can find musical notation in the Quaker hymnal titled Worship in Song: A Friends Hymnal (1996), #83. The hymnal says words are by Carol Bemmels and music by RossFlanagan, 1976

Notes from Worship in Song: Ross Flanagan, a leading Quaker social activist, lives quietly in Tallahassee, Florida, and attends Tallahassee Meeting. He says that this tune came to him one evening, about 1977, while he was doing the dishes. He thinks the tune shows the influence of a visit he had recently made to Ireland. Carol Bemmels heard the tune, liked it, and wrote this peom for it, which she gave to Flanagan as a Christmas present. At the time, both Flanagan and Bemmels were members of the Falls Monthly Meeting (Philadelphia Yearly Meeting).
