It is clean and was very well known by some of the old men. It is not on the database so I thought that I would drop it in here. Has anybody else come across it? It's not an "extra" stanza, but the last one in the (English-language) version Dietrich usually sang. You can hear it e.g. on the Cafe de Paris recording, which is out in CD. As mentioned on another Lili Marleen thread, I don't know who wrote that version, or why she preferred it to the one that was popular during the war. |

I wonder why it is seldom published, especially if it is in the English Language version sung by Marlene Dietrich? In the meantime, how do I go about recommending changes to the Mudcat database?
