PUBLIC NOTICE

Mudcatters who use folk, blues, acoustic, and/or spirituals in worship settings where one might not exactly expect to find them.... a discussion group is forming.

The music side of the topic will of course continue to occur at Mudcat. The MINISTRY side of it will occur elsewhere, and any music that piles up in the process will get posted back to Mudcat from time to time.

Please contact me for more information via PM, e-mail, or carrier Dove. *G*

It is NOT intended that this thread be the place where we discuss our music ministries.

Hally-bloody-lullejah from England.

You wouldn't believe what we're planning...

Count me in, please, Susan.

PS. We don't use carrier doves here - in Harry Potter mode, we use owls! (That'll be lost on anyone who doesn't read it....)

Welcome, Ian!

I am a great lover of the Lord... there's an onld black gospel song... Do You Want To Be A Lover Of The Lord? Yep, I surely do. I also am a great fan of all things Hogwarts...

I look forward to getting to know you and your music...

Ah, how nice to see someone who doesn't automatically assume that Hogwarts and Christianity are enemies.

For a magazine I write for, I've approached J.K.Rowling for an interview... it's a long shot, but what a coup it would be!

Yeh, I'm in on that ... although I'm not sure about where I *wouldn't* expect to find worship setting. Maybe bungee jumping? Although ...

Let me know when you're geared up!

Dani, Susan is using her own resources for the Ministry, not the Annexe. She posted her reasons for deciding where to locate the Ministry at the Annexe. The thread can be found at http://www.jonbanjo.com/forum/topic.asp?topic_id=67
