22 Oct 01 - 10:20 AM (#577329) Subject: RE: So How is The Getaway? From: GutBucketeer I made it home about Midnight last night and boy was I glad. It was simply horrible. It rained and was cold. The food was bad. Everyone went to bed at 8:00PM. The instruments would not stay in tune and the cold made everyone hoarse so we decided not to jam. There was no hot water (AGAIN). We fought like wildcats and ended up not speaking to one another. You had to walk uphill to everywhere. The only good thing about it is that no one snored. NOT !!!! See the FSGW Getaway 2002 Memories thread (which I'm just about to start) for more. JAB |

22 Oct 01 - 11:08 AM (#577349) Subject: RE: So How is The Getaway? From: Fortunato Micca has been having a "bloody blast!". He "got to sing on stage with a microphone". We found a cider, Woodchuck, that he says is "absolute heaven". But I'll let him tell you the rest himself. As for the Shivers we had a grand time. Wish you'd been there. Come see us next year. regards, Chance |
