20 Oct 01 - 01:24 PM (#576355) Subject: James Madison Carpenter From: Skipper Jack I,m trying to find information on the American researcher, Prof. James Madison Carpenter. Apparently he researched sea songs/shanties collected in the South Wales Ports. I do have Calennig's "Trade Winds" CD which features songs collected by JMC. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

A project is currently underway to index the entire collection; I believe that that index will eventually be available online. |
