Just seen Tom at Regal centre in Worksop. What can I say? Last thing on my mind, clean and fresh as if it were written last week! I told Him that I had read the lyrics to 'Bravest' on mudcat and he said thanks a lot for posting it.I hope my voice is that good when I get to his age (it will have to improve some.)

I haven't seen Tom since the Albert Hall in the early seventies and was wondering whether to go and see him in Edinburgh, where I now live, glad to hear you enjoyed him it has encouraged me to go. I was impressed by Bravest - Paxton always seems to be able to convey a difficult message/image in a way that is easy to understand. Cheers

I had the fortune of seeing and listening to Tom Paxton at a folk festival in Florida way back in the late sixties. He sat on the ground under a tree and explained how he writes his songs. For some reason he made it seem so easy, and when I try nothing comes out the same.
