It's one of the Jackie & Geordie songs from Close The Coalhouse Door... Off the top of me head I can only remember the last chorus...

AWM - keep looking for that script! I saw "Close the Coalhouse Door" in Newcastle University Theatre and the play was quite popular for a couple of years, but I ssems to have gone out of fashion. A great waste of an excellent and thought-provoking play!
