This message is from Bob's wife- Glenda.

Someone asked me to submit this when I could. Well, it is now available online, at poetry.com under Last name- Atwater, first name-Glenda.

UNITED WE STAND

In these great United States
We did not seek a war
But our Freedom now is threatened
We will do what is called for

It took a war many years ago
To make this country free.
And if we don't protect our land
We'll lose that Liberty.

We need to stand united
Not battle those who lead.
We'll offer our support and prayers.
Together we'll succeed.

Division never makes for strength
But yields more fear and doubt.
United we must make our stand
If in Victory we wish to shout.

Bob - I have never thought you were stupid nor have I ever stated that. I have met stupid and he was medevaced out shortly after our meeting. Not due to anything I did - he was stupid.

It is a superb poem!! I've forwarded it to the First Sergeants at the base where I work. I suspect it will make the rounds.

Steve, I am glad you like my poem.
