I frist heard this song on a recording by Norman Blake. Searching the web I found that it was recorded by Bascom Lamar Lunsford, Hedy West, and others. But I have not been able to find the words. Their version is based on Lunsford's. The lyrics are loosely similar to those in the link posted by MMario. --Stewie. |
