Just got my conference program. I am volunteering UNLESS I have to cross a picket line! Robby Greenberg was nice enough to accommodate my Motor City hangups!

Highlights include:Showcase Artists: Charivari from Louisiann
Aengus Finnan from Ontario
Tret Fure
Georgia Sea Island Singers
Vance Gilbert
Cathy Ryan
and Christina & Jean Hewson from Newfoundland!

Others include music by:

Sacred Steel Tradition from Florida
Hazel Dickens
Oral History with Stetson Kennedy
Melody writing with Paul Reisler

Gospel Sing by Ken Whitely
Todd Tyson, Turtle Dove Folk club.

It's also heavy with business workshops for the go-getters!!!!!

I think Mudcatters should meet for a party. See me at the conference for organizing! harpgirl harpgirl

So when do we find out if we have to cross a picket to get in?

My first post went with the Aes dana, but the conference is February 21-24, 2002, Jacksonville, Florida: Adams-Mark Hotel.

I ok, I'm naive, why are picket lines being crossed in Jacksonville. I went to the Florida Folk Festival for the first time and really enjoyed it. Now what is this thing in Jacksonville?
