Subject: EXPERIMENT: MIDI-TEXT; 'Homeward Bound'

OK, Here's the scoop:
I finally managed to download Allen Foster's "MIDI-Text" conversion program as advertised in the recent "How Can I Keep From Singing" Thread. After perusing the "Readme" docs and blundering around a bit, I think we might have it!
So... transcribed an old Hymn out of an 1864 Sailor's Song-Book from the Archives onto "Melody Assistant" (MYRIAD Software); then Saved As *.mid file. Dragged that mid-file into "MID-to-Text", and presto; there is the resulting *.txt file in the program folder. So we drag & drop it into my "Music Box" folder on the desktop... now lemmie open it on Wordpad, and copy>paste it here, and see if any of you thrill-seekers kan reverse the proccess and get it to play!!??
