Well, the round (canon) goes like this:

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat
Please to put a penny in an old man's hat.
If you haven't got a penny a ha'penny will do,
If you haven't got a ha'penny then God bless you!^^^

another version is two verses:

Christmas is coming, the geese are getting fat
Please to put a penny in the old man's hat.
Please to put a penny in the old man's hat.

If you have no penny, a ha'penny will do,
If you have no ha'penny, a farthing will do.
If you have no farthing, then God bless you!

Bing Crosby expanded it a bit:
God bless you, gentlemen, God bless you,
If you haven't got a ha'penny then God bless you!

There is an old Bing Crosby (?) version that has a more swing rhythm tune, which is fun to sing.

Christmas is a'comin' and the goose is gettin' fat
Please to put a penny in an old man's hat.
If you haven't got a penny then a ha'penny will do.
If you haven't got a ha'penny then God bless you.

Chorus
God bless you, gentlemen; God bless you!
If you haven't got a ha'penny then God bless you.

It goes one Christmas ... and the light's are on the tree.
Hang up your stocking for everyone to see.
If you haven't got a stocking then a little sock will do.
If you haven't got a little sock ...

This song is sometimes included in popular Christmas Song collections and fairly easy to find. A Kindergarten teacher I worked with taught it to me.

Christmas is a comin, and the lights are on the tree
When I'm feeling blue,
and when I'm feeling low
then I start to thinking about the happiest man i know
He doesn't mind the snow
and he doesn't mind the rain
But all December you will hear himat your window pane
a singing again, and again and again
Christmas is a coming
and the lights are on the tree
How about a turkey leg for poor old me?
If you haven't got a turkey leg,
a turkey wing will do,
and if you haven't got a turkey wing
may God bless you!

Christmas is a coming and the egg is in the nog
please leet me sit around your old yule log
If you'd rather I didn't sit around
to stand around I'll do
If you'd rather i didn't stand around
may God Bless you.
If you haven't got a thing for me
May God Bless You!
