21 Nov 01 - 06:07 PM (#597534) Subject: essiac tea From: MARINER Some weeks ago I asked for advise regarding my wifes terminal illness and was grateful to recieve many letters of support and kind words and thoughts. My wife is back in hospital at the present with pneumonia, but despite that is still in fairly good spirits and trying very hard to remain so. Yesterday a friend mentioned Essiac Tea, which , he said, may help to ease her discomfort and might possibly regress her tumours. Has anyone any experience of this tea??.The reason I ask is because there are so many different concoctions out there, that I have been advised wuold help, and she obviously can't take them all, that I want to pick the right one. Any advise from anyone would be gratefully recieved. And thanks yet again all you wonderful MudCatters for the comforting words previously. |

I hope that someone here with direct relevant experiance comes in to advise.
There are definitely people on the Mudcat anyway who are thinking about you both. Look after yourself too. |

There's a scan of a magazine article that's quite interesting. At the site McGrath gave a clickie for, there's a link to a paper done by Univerity of Texas Center for Alternative Medicine. My best wishes to you and your wife. |

22 Nov 01 - 03:15 AM (#597750) Subject: RE: BS: non music From: GUEST,Boab Mariner, miracles have happened in the past--at least what appeared to be miraculous. Never give up hope. The finest medicine, and one which ALWAYS has effect? Love, my friend; love, love and more love. No matter the outcome, it's most of what matters to each of us, no matter what time there is left. It happened to me, but so quickly that only thrice was I able to assure Her of my Love;they were the last words she ever reacted to in this World. I was blessed in knowing that I helped in the only way possible; may it be likewise when the situation arises. for either of you. Boab |
