His album of Woody Guthrie songs was my into to the man (both men) and I devoured it whole. I was happy to get the chance to tell him so and he was so kind and gracious to a couple of young admirers. |

From: Bat Goddess Lat time I saw him was at the Press Room in Portsmouth, NH (my home pub) back somewhere, I think, in the early 1990s. Bruce Pratt opened for him.
