At the bottom of the lyrics is a "Click For Tune" that you can also right-click and save to your hard drive. Hope this helps. Lin |

I referred to it recently in the Reynardine: Info? thread, and put in links to two other midis, the second of which is very close to the set A. L. Lloyd recorded; Jansch learned it from him. The tune from Hughes may indeed have been Lloyd's source. I assume the lost file was an audio recording, though; that's the best I can do for now. I think the Jansch recording is available on CD nowadays, incidentally. |

You will find what you're looking for at the Fingerstyle Guitar site, in the Bert Jansch section. The link to the Reynardine discussion that I got wrong earlier should have been Reynardine, incidentally. Turns out I put up three midis, not two, the first (a few messages earlier) being a rough transcription of Lloyd's singing. He actually got the song from a chap in Suffolk, but the tune is very close to earlier Irish variants. |
