Are there any Mudcatters in the broadcast area of Radio Merseyside who might be able to tape Sunday's December 2 Folkwaves programme with Stan Ambrose for me?

Kinin have done an interview etc and neither of us can pick it up at home.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi SarahC, I'll try to do that for you, although I shall be out on Sunday evening - I think I can remember how to set the timer on my radio/cassette player!

Hopefully someone else will also have a go, so there is some back-up!

Stan Ambrose himself will be out on Sunday evening as well.
As one of the original Bothy Folk Group, who along with Dave Boardman, Tony Wilson and Christine Jones, started the Bothy Folk Club in Southport 37ish years ago. They will all be at the Bothy on Sunday, having their 2nd annual reunion night.
So if you've got long memories or just want to see what it was like back then, do come down to the Blundell Arms, Upper Aughton Rd, Birkdale, Southport on Sunday.
