Another great mudcat cd

I just got a copy of Frank & Barbara Shaws' new cd. It's another hit folks! I pick with them every chance I get at festivals, and it is always a lot of fun. I'm a sucker for Franks' clawhammer banjo, but, everything they do is really good.

Hey, Kendall, how can we get hold of this CD, and what songs are on it?
Ooops! Barbara posted a nice message right here. -Joe Offer-

Hey Kendall, thanks! Just noticed this thread and was surprised to find it was about us. Looking forward to picking a few with you at next summer's festivals, although it seems like Springtime in CT this December, so it shouldn't be that far away.

So, so, a radio copy perhaps? Please and thanks. We almost made Kendall a star in Toronto, but he was a little too ugly to compete with George Clooney!

I'd be happy to send a radio copy. That would make us international recording artists, no? Should I send it to the address on your web site?

You bet Barbara.....but best of all, when the music is "old time, country bluegrass"........THE FIX IS IN! And no payola needed!

The Kingston rd. address

Cheers

Sent a CD yesterday, and they say it will take 4 to 7 days. In the meantime, I found out that your program is available live on the internet! (Did everyone already know that?)

Here's the programming page for Rick's radio station CIUT. Along the top row on the left there's a "listen live" icon. People can listen (using RealPlayer) to his Acoustic Workshop live on Mondays, from 7 to 8 pm (whatever is the time zone there? Same as Eastern US? duh). Anyway, I love technology!

Here's Rick Fielding's Web Site. I also remember that Kendall has a website somewhere, but can't find it, and the link referenced on Mudcat doesn't work. Thought I'd give these guys a plug, since they have fine CD's of their own and are nice enough to express interest in my homegrown CD (recorded at Phil Rosenthal's American Melody studio, but burned and packaged by myself).

Kendall, I went to the mudcat.org profiles page which has a link supposedly to your home page at Kendall's Personal Site. That one definitely doesn't work. So your REAL one is at Kendall's Web Site.

This html makes me crazier . . .
