Lyr Req: Gently down the stream of time

No, I'm not desperate for these lyrics, I'm just lazy.
I've listened last night for the first time to this beautiful song on Kendall's CD and I am confident that I can transcribe the lyrics from Kendall's clear and fine singing. If I'm stuck I can go for the sheet music to check my guesses.

But perhaps someone has these lyrics already on the computer and could save me half an hour of transcribing though I admit that half an hour of listening to Kendall singing this song is definitely not a lost time.

So, if it is just a couple of mouseclicks for you, please post. If it is more work, don't bother, I'll be able to respond to my own request within a week.

Wolfgang

Here's a link to a previous thread: Gently Down the Stream of Time which has the lyrics.

This doesn't show up on a search. Probably using an older version of the database for searching.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Now that I am unable to sing at all, it is even more appreciated.

Kendall, you were singing damned well at the Getaway! Has something happened to damage your voice since then? Your friends want to know!

Thanks, Barbara.
And I am the one who always tells other people that recent entries don't show up in the super search and that therefore a title search via the old search option ('subject') is necessary. This old way of searching finds two threads, both with the lyrics. My fault. Thanks again.

Kendall, if you are singing now half as good as then I'd still love to listen. I'd trust Sandy's judgement.

Ah, we had a wonderful evening at the Getaway, listening to Kendall sing into the wee hours. It really was fun. Kendall, don't lose that voice, dammit.!

It's the same old crap. Laryngitis comes and goes and I never know if I will have a voice or not. This last bout has lasted almost three weeks. The ENT who removed the cyst says "I dont see anything serious, but, there is some inflammation, and old damage from smoking." Great! just what I need, someone to comment on the obvious. He put me on a steroid and anti biotics for a week and said come back in three weeks. I had a series of allergy tests that showed nothing. My chiropractor says she will bet it is a food allergy, and suggests I quit Gluten and or dairy. I'm leaving for Florida right after New Years, and I'm concerned because I am to be resident entertainer at a resort there.

Kendall, you'll entertain 'em even if you can't sing.
