20 Dec 01 - 07:02 PM (#613920) Subject: Lyr Add: NEW YEAR'S TOAST From: Jeri I posted some of this for some previous year. I added a tune and a bit more to the lyric. Here's the tune (MIDI). [Link updated] (I know, I know...I got a bit carried away the third time through, but I had fun.)

21 Dec 01 - 09:22 PM (#614506) Subject: RE: New Year (New Song) From: Jeri MMario, sheet music made from that MIDI would be a real mess, and I don't have time at the moment to do a proper job. Anybody else wants to have a play at it, please do. I'm honored that someone asked! Tell me, did they learn about the song because you were sitting in your office singing it? |
21 Dec 01 - 10:21 PM (#614534) Subject: RE: New Year (New Song) From: MMario uh-huh. couldn't help it. had to sing it. BTW - the midi sounds kinda neat with chorused piano, strings ensemble and french horn for parts one two and three respectively. With any luck I will be singing this on the streets of Skaneatlas tomorrow - tho I can't garuntee it will sound like what you wrote. My brain seems to "folk-process" automatically. Will send you a tape after the weekend.
