Lyr Req: I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better (The Byrds)

Subject: Help with name or origin of a song
From: Beauregard Hooligan

Howdy All,

There is a song that occasionally finds it's way out of the junkyard I call a brain. I have ever worked out a finger style melody on guitar, but can't remember where I first heard it, who did it, or the complete lyrics. It sounds like what my sisters would call "bubblegum music", and it is catchy, or I would not remember it. I do it in the key of D, standard tuning, and it has five notes preceeding the first word, that is very much like the Beatles "Here Comes the Sun". I would be more exact, but I don't know tab.

It goes something like this:

The reason why I can't stay I've got to let you go girl and right away. After what you did I can't stay long and I'll probably feel a whole lot better when you're gone (two beats) when you're gone.

Thank you for your time. Anyone who can come up with info can write me at beauhooligan@sprynet.com. Adios.

Beauregard

G'day,
"I'll feel a whole lot better" by G. Clark, sung by the Byrds.

Cheers,
