Friends;

I will be visiting Toronto in Late Jan/early Feb and I wonder if there is a Irish/Celtic music scene In Toronto. I play semi-proffessional (mando/tin/keyb/guitar and sings) and is looking for a jamsession, gig, band.... Please advice for good venues, pubs, bands, people... Slainte! Carl

Use thread search on "Toronto", there have been plenty. From what I see I think the Free Times cafe still does open stage.

Carl,

There is a very good Irish session Sunday afternoons at Dora Keogh's on the Danforth.

Excellent! I'll bring my mando and hop in? Any chance for a decent Guiness?

Carl,

Dora Keogh's is a pretty authentic Irish Pub. They do pull a good pint of Guiness. It's a very good session, very traditional. Your Mando will fit in nicely.

I've only been a few times as I live about 45 minutes away, but I've enjoyed it tremendously.
