Hello, I am wondering if someone has the lyrics to the old George Jones tune "Things Have Gone To Pieces?" It would be a huge help if someone could post them. Thank you very much.

They're Country & I'm Country so I will post them as I hear them.

THINGS HAVE GONE TO PIECES
Recorded by: George Jones

Oh the faucet started drippin' in the kitchen
And last night your picture fell down from the wall
Today the boss said sorry I can't use you anymore
And tonight the light bulb went out in the hall

CHORUS
Things have gone to pieces since you left me
Nothing turns out [*half-right] now it seems
There ain't nothing in my pocket but three nickels and a dime
But I'm holding to the pieces of my dream

Somebody threw a baseball through my window
And the arm fell off my favorite chair again
The man called me today and said he'd haul my things away
If I didn't get my payments made by ten

CHORUS

The tales of 'no-show Jones' are legendary, and I was privileged (!) to witness one of them once. He came out to 10,000 people at Wembley, and announced that they were a wonderful audience, and that if they wanted, he'd be happy to pick'n'sing for them all night. Some promise - two songs in, he gave the sound engineer a bollocking through the PA, stormed off, and had to be fed several large drinks before he agreed to go back on again... I was lucky enough to have a view of the backstage area, and seeing the organisers and compere pleading with their headline star to go back on was more entertaining than the rest of his show.
