Does anyone know, who sang or wrote "Over on the new burying ground". I know it by Lonnie Donegan, but it must be older.

I didn't find anything, but perhaps Malcolm will be along. He usually knows something.

The Sensational Nightingales, and several other black gospel quartets recorded a song with similar title, but different lyrics called Burying Ground. My gospel quartet recorded it yesterday, and we learned our version from the recording by the Sensational Nightingales..
