BS: Interest in autograph?

Subject: Interest in autograph?
From: GUEST

During the recent fundraising for here, I wondered if anyone would be interested in what is probably no more than an autograph. The letter contains confirmation of a booking and travel arrangements, nothing of great historical note, but is signed A.L.Lloyd, I know it's not worth millions, but on the other hand if it's not worth anything then there's no point in auctioning it.

Comments anyone?

I guess I don't know who A.L. Lloyd is. So I am of little help -

I presume from the general lack of interest, that this particular item is not even worth auctioning for mudcat funds, oh well never mind didn't really want to part with it.

Well, you didn't really tell us much about it, GUEST and only members can put things in the auction, so....

That's not what you usually call me...

Does the Waikiki all-stars fruit orchestra have an all-singing all-dancing pineapple?

One of my all time heroes -- but I'm not an autograph collector, exactly. (Gawd, Curmudgeon and I aren't so much collectors of anything as accumulators! -- We don't even have a place to hang the nice black and white photo we have of Bert! -- or our photographs of Lou Killen and Ewan MacColl. I need more WALLS!!!)

I have various autographs on books & records...all collected personally...and shamelessly.

Ewan MacColl & Peggy Seeger, Bob Copper, Jean Redpath, Tom Paley, Lou Killen, David Jones ....various others....
