How many was can you arrange "BILLGATES" ie 9 letters with 1 duplication ? It's (factorial 9) divided by 2 =181,440 . How many ways can you arrange "BILLGATESOFMICROSOFT), IE 20 letters, 5 twice,1 thrice It's (factorial 20) divided by((2x5)x(factorial 3)) = Dunno, numbers too big for the calculator, but you're going to need a LOT of pencils. .
