I'm going to be in Devon next week and was wondering where I might find a session. I'm staying near Teignmouth (Combeinteignhead to be exact). Anybody got any ideas?

If you don't get a better offer, PM me and I'll send you Hugh Diamond's phone number. He's living in Teignmouth, but when last heard wasn't playing or singing much locally.

There's one on Wednesdays at the pub in marlborough near Salcombe but that's a bit of a trek!

Hey what happened to the Torquay FC, as far a I know it is still going. If Exeter is near enough there is always Topsham, Globe, Sun. I list down to there. Try cresby.com if anyone has problems with it try the http:// in front (I had to advise Sally on that one just today)
there was a recent similar thread, not more than 3 weeks ago. Try thread "filter" search on Devon. Are you the Trevor of Bishops Castle Folk Weekend (May 24/25/26) fame?

BTW I have had reports of their website being problematical, if anyone is interested it is http://www.mrslemon.co.uk The webmaster would like some feedback (wouldn't I?). avoid the .com site, it is apparently salacious!!!!! net nannies may be a clue to the problems.

Thanks for the advice on Devon sessions. I didn't manage to find any - just missed one in Teignmouth apparently.

I want to plug the second-hand record shop in Teingmouth BTW - great selection of rarities and areally helpful bloke running it.

Hope you enjoyed Cheltenham Cresbie - did I tell you I was going to Devon for the week?

Cheltenham was fantastic, we wrote a dance at a workshop, danced in evening and posted here but not too much response, getting others to try it.
Why are we talking over the cat? e-mail me even if it is only to say attachement too big, sending without, ring me. Good Idea? hello? hello?

BTW did anyone mention the Bishops Castle Folk w/e in May 24 - 26th (http://mrslemon.co.uk)

Haven't heard about too many sessions lately, only war between the guest and the members, but I really would like to see all that crap over with, so we could get back to matters such as music.

Wow! My little query about a session-by-the-sea is part of the return from some other planet to Mudcatland!
