30 Jan 02 - 09:22 AM (#638618) Subject: One Starry Night From: Arnie On the Stars in my Crown CD by Lynn Heraud & Keith Kendrick there is a song entitled One Starry Night. This has got to be my favourite track on the CD and I love the lyrics, but in the last verse there is a sentence I cannot understand - it sounds like "Oh Molly bawn estorian come and lay me down". I guessed 'bawn' which is the Irish for pretty but I may be completely wrong. A previous verse mentions 'boreen' so there is definitely an Irish link. Does anyone know this song and if so do you know the line I'm having trouble with? Any suggestions welcome... |
