I had this piece on a old cassette-tape, but a little after that verse the band stopped. I never found out who sang the song... |

From: Amos Bruce Johnston does a song called Rock and Roll Survivors of which one reviewers says "Johnston, like Randy Edelman, Tim Moore, and other quality songwriters from the era, has a pleasant voice, which is very effective on "Disney Girls." "Rock and Roll Survivors," with references to being a "dried out troubadour," is more like "C&W Survivor" ". So I assume that's the song. No lyrics around... A |

There was something that sounded like I like my country music, with a touch of modern soul (.....) rock and roll still survives in the next verse just before tape ended, but I'm not really sure if those words were correct.
