03 Feb 02 - 01:10 PM (#641364) Subject: SF Hootenanny needs you From: GUEST,equalrice Hootenanny Night is a monthly acoustic music party in San Francisco featuring scheduled performances and sing a longs. It happens ever second Saturday of the month at the Cafe International in the lower Haight, and it's all to promote the San Francisco Folk Music Club. Each Hoot features 7 or 8 acts that play 20 min. sets. We've had some great line-ups so far, but I'm always looking for folks who play Irish, English, pub songs, sea shanties and old timey. Any suggestions would be appreciated. These are free shows, so they don't pay, but it's a nice club and we pull a nice crowd of 60-70 people. So if you know you are going to be in the area anyway, let me know ahead of time and we'll try to get you on the schedule. Cheers Richard Rice equalrice@yahoo.com
