Will the blue clicky work for once?

Peter.

My word Peter..........What a man and what a life! It seems he was still quite vital up until the end.

Our sincerest condolences to all.

What an incredible person he was, Peter. My sympathies to you and your wife. I've sent the link on to my sister and her daughter, who is diabetic and a microbiologist. She has been in the "thick" of it in keeping up with the research and I would bet she knows about Dr. Krall. Thanks very much for sharing with us.

My condolances of course , but I also see this thread as a celebration of a life well spent. Let your sadness be eased with joy for his life and pride in his work.

Spot.

My sincere sympathy Peter,

How proud you must have been (and still are) to have been in the company of such a fine man!

It will be difficult to fill the void that is left when one such as this leaves us. But this man is not gone, not really. Everytime you go by the Joslin Clinic, you will see, hear, and feel him. When the time comes that a cure is found, he will be standing there receiving the accolades. I am sorry for your loss, but I join in the celebration of a life well lived.

Peter:

Condolences; especially in light of who you were lucky enough to choose for a father!

This is a strange and sometimes long passage, from what I have seen, and I wish you well in it; it is ultimately liberating, although at first it is all disorienting as hell.

Stay bright and do well,

A.

I enjoyed the picture as much as the story - he looked like the kind of man you'd like to have known.

Sympathies.
