Dear 'GUEST' seem as you have been quite condesending towards me I have taken the time to tell you a bit about myself so you know more about me. I am 22 this year.....however I do feel that age is irrelevant, I have played the violin for nearly 17 years. I have studied at music college, I have a first class honours degree in musical education, I have played with some of the top orchestras in this country and I have played in many wonderful cities/countries. I am not a mindless person writing BS over the internet for my own amusement nor do I wish to get at other people especially those whom I consider friends with whom I can laugh and joke with, and share experiences and information with as well as ask advice when I need to......and as indeed I have. Thankyou to all those catters who have offered advice when I have asked I am truely grateful. |

Guest, I'm not sure where you come from, or who you are so why not be brave enough to let us know. As for the comment about threads that appeal to 5 or 6 people you will find that if you bother to fill in the (few) membership details you will suddenly have friends all over the world - many of whom you will eventually get to meet - and then suddenly you can put a name to a face. Yes, I did tell catsPHiddle off for getting at chris2far on the Mudcat, so she had the grace to apologise the same way. It tells you a lot about her character. What's more as an excellent young musician SHE'LL probably still be encouraging people to enjoy music, and the related social life, long after you are gone!!! |

And we enjoy our social life related to music as much as we love our music!! Cats only been playing folk for about a month and I've only been playing for a couple of years. We were both classically trained and all of a sudden we've founf this whole new world of folk music where we can chat to people who share our interests as well as have a bit of a laugh with them!!
