I found these two sites today, whilst I was looking for info on 'I'll Walk Beside You' They may be useful to some of you.

Look here
Found this by chance today, don't know if it's already been mentioned or not. I found the section on Burns interesting, and didn't know there were so many German translations of his work.

Hi, Giok - the main page of the site is www.recmusic.org, titled the REC Music Foundation, operated by Robert E. Crawford. The site has been around for a long time. I always assumed it came from a newsgroup, rec.music - but now I know otherwise. In addition to the Lieder section, the site offers classical MIDI files.

By the way, close to all of the well known English folksongs have a singable German translation. I have a book titled "Englisches Liederbuch" translating more than 50 songs.
