Sooner or later the decommissioning takes place.

13 Feb 02 - 11:22 PM (#649677) Subject: RE: No more Spancil Hill? From: GUEST,iains I bought a house just outside Kenmare about 8 years ago. I was burning some of the rubbish from inside on a bonfire and thought the wood was spitting a bit lively. The following day in the ashes I found the remnants of two clips of 303's. Several days later I found an Oxo tin with several hundred more rounds. I donated the whole lot to the local guards and later had a letter from the authorities in Dublin asking permission to blow them up. |
