14 Feb 02 - 09:16 PM (#650490) Subject: Do You Know the Marius Brand? From: Ebbie I've been delving into Marius pages on the net- and not found a thing that refers to music of any kind. It just occurred to me that the Mudcat is the place to go! A friend has been given a banjo mandolin; on the stock is printed 'Marius'; there is no other identifier. It appears old, and the skin has lost its integrity. But the resonator is beautiful wood, the heft is good, the pegs are good quality. Does anyone know anything about the company? Any info at all? From: Stilly River Sage The Google site is excellent for very specific searches, and the advanced site is basically a user-friendly Boolean search screen. For those who enjoy detective work, Google is a joy to search with. SRS |
