i believe I have ancestors from Keswick in the Lake District in England and I am told there is a tune called Keswick Bonny Lasses. Anybody know where I could find it?

Hello Anne

I don't know the tune I'm afraid but I have spent many happy hours in Keswick - It's a lovely place although, unfortunately like a lot in the Lake District now, very busy in the Summer. Have you ever visted?

Good luck with your search.

There's a Keswick here in Central VA too... such a tiny place I was amazed there'd be a thread about it... makes more sense now!

I believe that the tune was being played on the viola in the link I gave.
