Gmisus4

Ok, I would really like to play 'Little Musgrave', lovely tune, good story, nice chords EXCEPT for Gmisus4.

It isn't in my guitar/chord book, & I can't get any of the chord sites to work. So plan A - back to first principles & then ask for help ! I think Gmisus4 means, take the first inversion of Gmin, & lose the 4th string.

I believe Gmin is (3,5,5,3,3,3) = (G,D,G,Bb,D,G) & taking the first inversion means taking the base note & moving it up an octave, however, Gmin already has a top G, so, does moving to first inversion & losing the fourth string work out to the same thing here ????

ie does Gmisus4 = (3,5,x,3,3,3) ????

I have trouble getting steady pressure on the 5th/6th strings, but basically it sounds ok, which I suppose is the bottom line.

Am I in the right general area ???

Much thanks

Ask Mr. Fielding, he knows all the chords.
