Happens to me all the time - I look for a thread I've started or contributed to, and it's gone, and I can't find it when I search, even when I look for the exact title or a specific piece of content.

Arbuthnot, if you want to find threads that you've started or that you've posted to, you can find a thread with your name in it somewhere, click on your name in blue letters in the heading of your post, and find it in your posting history.

Alternatively, you can go to the top of this page or the forum home page, click on the drop down menu for the "Quick Links" just to the left of the word "GO", select "Forum Search" and in the box next to "User Name", put your screen name and click on "GO". That will also take you to your posting history.

Once you're in your posting history, just click on the blue, clickable subject for whatever post you want to look in. If you have a long posting history, you can save a lot of loading time by right-clicking on the subject, opening it in a new window, and then x-ing it out when you're finished looking at it. If you want to see the whole thread that your post is in, when you're in the page with your post, click on the thread title, and that will take you to to the top of that particular thread.
