17 Feb 02 - 08:10 AM (#652022) Subject: Dead Parrot et al Freebie From: JudeL Went into WH Smith a couple of days ago and they're giving away a cd with half an hour of various BBC classic comedy sketches such as Monty Python's "the dead parrot sketch", The goon's "A gentleman's rest home in Sussex", Harry Enfield's "Tim Nice-but-dim meets a scotsman" and Tony Handcock's "Agricultural Handcock". Yes it's an obvious marketing ploy but funny for all that. Jude |
