25 Feb 02 - 01:31 PM (#657570) Subject: Parody Challenge: The Aunts Go Marching From: GutBucketeer This Friday our local area FSGW is having a song circle with the topic: "Marching and other means of getting from here to there". I had this idea to look for parodies of "The Ants Go Marching Down into the Ground to get out of the Rain Boom Boom ....." Problem is that I haven't found any. So I though I could make one up with a chorus something like... The Aunts go marching down to store to buy some more chink, chink, chink. But that's where my creative juices have run out. Can any of you songsters think of some good lines? Does anyone know of other parodies to the song? Thanks JAB |
