That's what I thought. I tried getting into the Canadian Bravo web-site, but I'm having problems with it. Thanks for the update. |

03 Mar 02 - 04:59 PM (#662030) Subject: RE: CELTIC TIDES ON TV From: cyder_drinker This doesn't look like the kind of thing the UK Bravo channel would carry. They usually have old episodes of Airwolf, The A-Team, Bugs, that kind of stuff. Celtic music seems a bit off-topic for that channel! |

04 Mar 02 - 02:10 AM (#662288) Subject: RE: CELTIC TIDES ON TV From: michaelr Like the world-music cd samplers Putumayo produces, this program was a not-bad introduction for novices. I didn't expect anything too in-depth, anyway. Well worth watching. Keep your TVs tuned to the movie Bravo is showing afterwards: "This Is My Father", with Aidan Quinn, James Kaan, Stephen Rea and John Cusack, written and produced by Aidan's two brothers, music by Donal Lunny. Look out, it's a two-hankie story! Michael |

04 Mar 02 - 08:17 AM (#662364) Subject: RE: CELTIC TIDES ON TV From: Dharmabum Very good show. But, like most shows of this nature, it left me wanting more. It would be nice to see a series like this. Something akin to what PBS did with American Roots Music. DB. |
