The singer relates how he traced his grandmother that he never knew(Bridget) despite the fact that she went be several different names throughout her life. The singer is the one who "insisted that Bridget existed." I'm trying to find out the title of the song and the artist. |

07 Mar 02 - 10:54 PM (#664800) Subject: Bridget existed From: Festus Can anyone tell me the name of the song (and artist) that includes the phrase "...insisted that Bridget existed..."? He's singing about the grandmother that he never knew and how he researched her life. It's played on my local NPR station, but nobody there can identify it for me. Thanks! |

On the theory that Festus might have got the name wrong, I experimented with using "insisted that * existed" (in quotes) as a search argument. It came back with various phrases like "insisted that God existed" "insisted that there existed" and so on. Unfortunately, though, I didn't find anything that satisfied Festus's request. |
