"The World, The Flesh, and the Devil" (Harry Belafonte, Inger Stevens, Mel Ferrer) came out in 1959. The TZ episode, "Two", first aired on September 15, 1961. Seems likely that the episode lifted the characters' predicament from the first part of the movie (before Ferrer came on the scene). On the other hand, several TZ episodes used nuclear holocaust as a plot device, and the brotherhood of man and the conquering of stereotypes were recurring themes throughout the series. I have been busy de-stablizing, re-stablizing (or trying to), and writing so much poetry and songs and just journal stuff that I feel as if I've been in a whirlwind and it isn't slowing down much. I am glad to have Bob home too. We've a long way to go to both being really stable tho'. So everyone out there who believes in the power of prayer, please say one for us.
